WILD PLACES

“There are no unsacred places; there are only sacred places and desecrated places...” - Wendell Berry

No one can argue the unmeasurable solace that comes with spending time in the wild. Without it, it is so easy to lose your way in this increasingly broken world. Whether it be the prehistoric call of an alpine kea upon a mountain summit, the rhythmic inhale and exhale of a tank of air 30 meters deep below the surface or the sound of feathers rustling as an albatross flies above your head, it doesn’t take much to find hope. Each image I have taken is a moment where I have felt this solace and I hope that you feel something similar.
